These labels can be used for the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, pro­tec­tion and pro­mo­tion of pack­ag­ing to pre­vent coun­ter­feit­ing of prod­ucts and brand items, such as fresh and canned food, med­i­cine, replace­ment parts, liquor, soft­ware, elec­tronic equip­ment, books, cloth­ing, beauty prod­ucts and cos­met­ics, jew­elry and acces­sories, bar­code and expi­ra­tion date labels, etc. They are sup­plied in rolls with con­tact adhe­sive for man­ual or auto­matic appli­ca­tion, and when a label is removed from the pro­tected item the holo­gram is par­tially destroyed, leav­ing evi­dence that the prod­uct has been opened and pro­hibit­ing the label from being used again. Labels are made with either a spe­cial design (from a per­son­al­ized mas­ter for the exclu­sive use of the cus­tomer), or an insti­tu­tional COLOMBIAN IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S. design (which is prop­erty of COLOMBIAN IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S and is not for the exclu­sive use of the cus­tomer). These insti­tu­tional labels are sold with a ther­mal print on black resin tape, of the logo, text or num­ber­ing that the cus­tomer indi­cates.
